The trade publication MediaPost, which has for years operated a busy schedule of conferences aimed at marketers and media buyers, has released its calendar of events for 2026, offering what amounts to a standing invitation to the industry's networking class.

The calendar, which stretches from January through December with the regularity of a metronome, includes gatherings in nearly every month of the year. Most appear to run three to four days, in the format that has become standard for such affairs: a mixture of presentations, panels and what organizers like to call "informal time to connect."

(The dates and locations, MediaPost notes, are subject to change — which is to say, they are dates and locations.)

The publication has also assembled testimonials from past attendees, a genre of corporate prose that tends toward the effusive. Mandy Rassi, the chief marketing officer of Michaels, the craft retailer, praised the "perfect balance" of the events. Morgan Chemij, a marketing director at HP.com, called them "always industry-best." Kevin Klein, who oversees marketing for Amazon's global display advertising, offered that the conferences provide "the most comprehensive insight into the state and future of interactive media."

Elliott Curry, a senior marketing manager at Fidelity Investments, compared the experience to "a day camp," which may or may not have been intended as the compliment it appears to be.

For those interested in sponsorship opportunities, a man named Seth Oilman is available. For editorial questions, there is Erin Everhart.

The conference industry, which took a prolonged pause during the pandemic years, has returned with the enthusiasm of a sector that discovered how much it missed hotel ballrooms and sponsored coffee breaks. MediaPost, for its part, appears to have no intention of slowing down.

The calendar awaits. The lanyard manufacturers stand ready.
